Background Story
Texan Palmer Shop opened in 2014. The owner, Melinda Palmer started the shop when she was pregnant with her son. She struggled to find the perfect baby mobile that matched the theme of the nursery that she and her husband decided on. Her husband is from a small town about 80 miles south of Chicago, Illinois. However, living in Texas, it’s very rare to find anything relating to the Chicago Bears National Football Team. Melinda decided that since she could not find a mobile to suit her tastes, that she would make one. She drew up plans, purchased several Chicago Bears patches, felt, yarn and a wooden ring, and she made her very first baby mobile. She loved the idea so much that she decided to open an Etsy shop selling custom mobiles to help other parents get that perfect baby mobile for their new bundle of joy.
The Texan Palmer Shop specializes in custom baby mobiles, and also recently began making holiday and birthday banners for extra adorable room decor.
